Symbolically, that at the beginning of the XXI century through the audiences of the University, as one hundred years ago, a scientist Paton was passing . Scientists of this family created some advancing technologies that allowed science to achieve the new level. The life and work of the Paton’s family reflect some major developments and accomplishments of the past century. The father became the founder of welding technology. During the B.E. Paton’s time different space technologies appeared. Thanks to scientific and social activities of Boris Evgenevich Paton the links between scientists and researchers in the CIS countries were preserved and continue to develop. |
