The Russian Association for the Advancement of Science is a non-profit organization with the stated goals of promoting cooperation among the members of RAAS, citizens, public associations and other representatives of civil society to promote the full development of Russian science. In a sense, the Russian Association created as an analog of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. AAAS publishes the journal Science, as well as many scientific newsletters, books and reports, which raise the level of understanding of science worldwide. Everybody who works in a science is a scientist. Anyone can join our Association.
